Help With A Wii

Featured Replies

Do you know if Lotus in Mae Chan or Big C in Chiang Rai have a basic Wii ? (also any idea on local price ?)

Or in spite of misgivings should I carry a Wii from Heathrow ?

I only recently found out that a Wii was a Nintendo game machine.

So as not to cause confusion, a Wii is a Nintendo game machine.

So, hopefully now someone can answer your question.

By all means bring it. If the prices in England are anything like the US then it is going to be a lot more here, if you can find it. Make sure their is no problem with 220 voltage issue, I wanted to buy a Playstation, Wii or Xbox but did not because of the prices. For example a PS2 goes for 5500Bt. I wish you could sneak a second one in for me but that maybe will not work?

I bought a new (chipped) Wii game system for my son at Central in Chiang Mai last December. It was modified (chipped) so it accepts all games, regardless of where they are bought or if they are copied. Very happy with the system. I think it was about 10,000 BHT with a bunch of games including the sports package. If you need the name of the shop I could probably dig up the receipt with name and phone number.

Cheers

Wiley if it's the Central mall in CM I'm thinking of it has a all the computer game stuff on the top floor. (Or second top, the last retail floor anyway).

I bought Wii games there early this year, I'm sure that they would sell the machines as well.
