Hi.

I was wondering if anyone knew if there was a place to donate blood in Pattaya? Being the good samaritian I am :o

Ooooh and that was another thing I'm a Christian but the only Church I see around here is a Catholic one.

A small problem, I'm not a Catholic (sowwie to anyone that is). So does anybody know of a non-Catholic Church in Pattaya?

Try this link.. (does not work with firefox)

Churches in Pattaya

totster  :D

Is there any churches that have those statues that cry and stuff or is that in the Philipinnes, they also have moving statues in Ireland.

Anyway I have a lot of time for people who go to church as they are usually decent folks.

I don't go myself as I find mass chanting/praying a little overwhelming plus I get very clausterphobic.

My grandmother could pray for hours although she suffered terribly from hemoorhoids in her later years.( obviously you don't want to give blood in that way)

Anyway, happy praying. :o

PS if giving large amounts of blood its better to get a cab home. :D

Giving blood is a very respectable thing to do. And you don't lose large amounts of blood. It's less than a pint. And at the end of the day, who cares? Your saving lives.

Register with your Consul.

If you are of European descent you are more likely to be of a donor group more suited to Europeans.

You will find several threads on this web-site appealing for blood when someone has had an accident or similar. The various embassies / consulates usually have a combined list of donors and blood types, to aid injured visitors and residents.

Don't think Thai hospitals are eager for blood to store - when they need it, the patient's family usually come through.
