JAKARTA (BNO NEWS) -- A landslide killed at least 11 people and injured 18 others on Tuesday in Indonesia's Central Sulawesi, local media reported while quoting police sources.

According to the state-run Antara news agency, the landslide buried employees of a local oil palm company in Bunta village of Sulawesi's Morowali district, where the evacuation of victims is still underway.

At least 142 personnel from local police and other agencies are involved in the operation, along with the Indonesian military and workers from the local oil palm company, a police spokesperson said.

The landslide buried the employees while having a lunch at around 01.00 p.m. local time.
