Shooting Gun

Featured Replies

Quick summary, Wife owns 5 acres of land in the country, if she owned a gun and wanted to do target shooting on her own land (providing she took precautions against shooting a neighbour not that there are any) could she? or, as any gun would have been issued for "self defence" would this not be allowed?

Edited by travelmann

Don't see why not. As long as she has a licence to own the gun, shooting it on her own land should be allowed.....but don't quote me.

We have a revolver (oops! My wife has a revolver) and although we only have 2 rai of land, I have shot the gun on the land- missed the chicken that I was aiming at though!

Oh yes "my wife too":whistling:

But I want to be sure she can hit what she' aiming at without having to go to some shooting club and just so any neighbours know she has a gun "just in case"
