Here, here. I made a negative comment regarding the first issue and got a hammering from the PO team. Unreal. My comments were right on, I proved it, and never heard another word back. I was in Business for years. If a customer complains, don't hammer them. Be nice, or don't say anything....which is obviously not being followed here.

This article is not about Pattaya...and is another example of some pretty poor journalism. Not up to the standards I would expect of TV.

No. It's about the interactive nature of the forum being abused by some spammers and trollers, who, in real life, may work for or even own rival publications or media in Pattaya or Thailand, and who may have a commercial interest in persistently flaming on the forum. Obviously we cannot tell from board names.

Fair negative comment, constructive criticism and suggestions on how to improve the paper, and any positive feedback, are all welcome, flaming, trolling and off-topic posts are not, especially when people who hate it can just avoid the forum and not read the paper.

Not being happy with PO has NOTHING to do with TV. They are separate, aren't they????? You've gotten a lot of constructive criticism...time to follow it...and not beat your readers over the head.

I am in Australia and ind it a handy source for reading about Pattaya and whats going on. Its not the most journalistic paper, but its light reading and enjoyable.

Hear hear. Excellent read, good fun and the download link is very useful, as I discovered when I was back in the UK recently.

So Stickman is the new Trink?

I believe Stickman has seen himself as the inheritor of the Trink mantle for some considerable time. He even liberally sprinkles his writing with Trinkisms ('Worth going out of your way for' '.... and all the trimmings' etc. etc.). I wonder how long it will be before he starts quoting Burma Shave advertisements in his 'column'? After all, as Trink himself also discovered, there is only so much you can write about sh*gging whores in Bangkok and Pattaya.
