90 Day Reporting W/ New Visa?

Featured Replies

Hi all,

As of now I am on an Education Visa in Chiang Mai that finishes on Nov. 8. In my passport there is a 90-day reporting due on Oct. 27. I will be leaving the country on Nov. 8 to Laos to hand in the paper work for a new ED Visa with a different school. My question is, do I still report the 90 day to immigration even tho my visa expires a week after the reporting? Thanks for the help!

Yes, the grace period is 7 days and you may do your report 7 days in advance!

I make it a habit to stahy wel within the law. I made a 90 report 3 days before my depart! Often the Immi Officer doesn't even remove the 90 report stub upon exit.

I'm a long time retiree who know the rules and abides by them!
