October 21, 201015 yr Hi, My name is Alex and I am from Romania. I entered Thailand on the 5-th of September with a tourist visa (romanian nationals are required to have a tourist visa to enter Thailand), and I think I can stay until the 3-th of November but I understand I can ask for a extension (30 days). I am now in Nakhon Ratchasima, do I have to come to Bangkok to ask for this extension and how hard is it to get the extension? Usually they are giving the extension easy or the may refuse it? Also, I would like to know, if I get the extension I will be able to stay until 3 December, but is there any way I can stay more ( I would like to stay until 2 or 3 January). Will a visa run do the trick? and if so where is the best place to go? Thank you very much I would appreciate any help.
October 21, 201015 yr Have a look here... You'l get lots of info from lots of places but a Poland guy just you a 60 +30 for a totay of 90 days in Sing http://www.thaiembassy.sg/consular-visa-matters/visa-requirements/tourist-visa Here is some help: the Thai Embassy is on Orchard right in the middle of the shopping. Now a good land mark, let me be delicate, is a spot know as Orchard Towers. Ratgher infamous etc. Have a good look at the link as there are many cheapo flights etc. Does anybody know if he can go to the old Immi offit in BKK rather that Chatuchak etc. If the masses here suggest doing it in BKK and you go to an outlying office ask for directions using the sky train. Now, being an old had at Thailand (doesn't mean I still not a sucker) but in are you in Nakon R or outer areas of greater Korat.. If oyu have fallen in love immdiately leave Korta, go to Soi Nana and find a new lub!
October 21, 201015 yr You can obtain a 30 day extension of stay for 1,900 baht at any immigration office (using a local address). It is not normally any problem obtaining.
