A Crazy Marketing Blunder

I wonder if I'm the only one that has noticed how CAT (Communication Authority of Thailand) has a commercial running on TV for International calls that actually knocks their own 009 service. The business guy is trying to talk to someone and they cannot understand each other, he the scolds his secretary because she didn't dial 001. Are we to understand then that their 009 service (which uses voip, or Internet telephony) is totally useless. If so, why the ###### did they bother spending millions of baht promoting it in the first place?

Definitely a case of "T I T"

and I thought I was the only one wondering... :o
