ianf
The Tour of Friendship will run from 30 April to 4 May with racing categories for all riders on road bikes including a category for the over 60s. In the past they have forgone a time trial for the older group but in 2011 this will be included. Search the web for more details. I've never ridden it but they tell that it's a great event, albeit held outside the auspices of the TCA.

But I'm not sure what you mean by "hosts" the event. His website specifically says he has nothing to do with it: "This form will be sent directly to the organizer Titaree Tanakorn. For any enquiries please contact her directly ([email protected] / +66 81 820 8192). NeilPryde is neither the organizer nor responsible for any issues related to the Tour of Friendship 2011 R1" He's just promoting his bikes. Anyway, this page gives a fairly comprehensive overview of this year's race.
