madgolfer
Buying a house and need some information.. Have done renovations back home so I know what needs to be done. Will be knocking out some walls putting up some walls (brick and render) installing 4 X UPVC 3.6 mtre doors and 5 windows, about 300 sq metres of tiles and same laid (mixture of wall, floor and outside). About 8 metres of kitchen (top & bottom). About 50 metres of outside concreting. Gut and install 3 bathrooms. Putting in a 3metre x 3metre pool. Building a 3metre x 5metre carport. Plumbing and electrical work. Will be doing the painting myself. Help needed with recomending trades people and suppliers who you have had good experiences with that you consider charged a value for money service. I have got costings on some things such as pool 200K tiled pool all equipement (no jaccuzi)...doors 20K each fitted , tiles 150bht up a metre (laying costs needed ). Have a friend who used a builder to organise everything at his place and he said he still needed to be there every day.....sugestions regarding using a builder or use idividual tradespeople and work through the language issue. (time is my own apart from golf so being on the job is not an issue) Any costs you may know about any of the above would be a great help as well.
