Can I Get Further 7 Day At Jomtien Immagration ?

Featured Replies

i got a 15 day ext at nong kai recently and it expires on 4th nov, my flight home is on 11th nov, so therefore i need a further 7 days from the 4th, can i get this in jomtien ? i am in patts at minute.

thankyou in advance

I don’t know what a “15 day ext at nong kai” is but if you mean that you left Thailand, entered the neighbouring country, then returned to Thailand without a visa and on this visa-exempt entry received permission to stay for 15 days, then, yes, you are entitled to a seven-day extension of stay from any immigration office in Thailand if you can show a flight ticket out of Thailand within these seven days.

The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place

Actually there is no such thing as a 7 day extension of stay so don't assume you are entitled to it. But as said they normally they will provide a 7 day under consideration period but may require show of ticket to do so.

well as i say im due to fly back to uk on 11th nov, my 15 days i got at nong kai is up on 4th nov, therefore i need 7 extra days, will jomtien give me that if i go with my tickets and how much is it ,thanks

They might give it and it will cost 1,900 baht, just as any other extension.

You probably will get it, but it is not a sure thing as an extension of stay of a tourist visa.
