damole Posted November 4, 2010 Share Posted November 4, 2010 Hi I had my old classic Pioneer A400 GTE (Tom Evans mod) shipped from the UK this year. One of the channels on the CD input to which my Logitech Squeezebox Duet is connected cuts out intermittently, a simple wiggle of the input cable restores the sound. The amp is from 1993 and all the phono (RCA) input sockets on the back are dull and tarnished. I was as thinking of getting the CD input and the line input, which is used for the front speakers of my Onkyo surround sound receiver, replaced with nice gold plated ones. Somebody in this forum already mentioned Kaew Audio, the shop upstairs at the back of Central (Kad Suan Kaew)> Has anybody else had experience there or could suggest another place that would take care of this classic? cheers damole Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
