One prediction I've seen is 50 million jobs in the US replaced by AI by 2028.

So AI-pocalypse might be just around the corner.

Musk is full of it. He's not an engineer. People in silicon valley laugh about the BS he spouts. Remember hyperloop? Remember self driving cars? Remember Mars by 2028? Etc. He buys a company created by smart people and claims it was his smarts that did it. Another con man. If his daddy didn't have an emerald mine he would have been nothing.

This is true.

He is just looking at the trend during the past several years.

Nothing new.

Well Meta failed when Zuckberg recently tried to lay off hundreds of staff in a failed attempt to go all digital. It just did not work out. And this is a fact and not a hypothetical prediction of Musk no matter how smart the fellow can be in business.
