I have a Canadian passport and am thinking about going to Tland in Dec on a 30 day visa and again in the new year with a double entry tourist visa. Question is will the 30 day visa effect my ability to get the double entry 90 day visa in Feb/Mar?

hi, i am maldivian national. When i first came to Thailand i came in Non-immigrant, category F (no.of entry: S) visa. Visa was extended at Bangkok up to Feb 2012 (as under Section 15...). Today i went to Immigration office to apply for re-entry visa but i was told i will not be needing it and that i can leave n come back anytime before my visa expires.. is it for real?!

If I recall correctly section 15 is the diplomatic extension for Embassy personal and do not believe any re-entry permit is required.
