All the major japanese manufacturers have some presence here, although I'm not certain if any manufacture whole bikes here or just componants.

Thailand built Tigar motorcycles are a Thai brand, and from my one day of riding one I'd say they were quite good quality, though you may want to get a longer term review. They are definitly less expensive than the locally sold japanese bikes, or were when I was pricing them out last year.

Believe all the Japanese motorcycle for engine displacement less than 200cc are manufactured in Thailand. Having worked at one such manufacturer in Japan, I'm pretty sure they have enforced the same quality control standard anywhere in the world, though Japanese market doesn't share any single model manufactured and sold in Thailand as far as I know.

Not sure but perhaps not in the near future.
