Newcomer here so forgive me if questions seems a bit trivial myself and my partner are on our second visa on arrival in Thailand we currently are not due to leave southeast asia until jan 2011 we really want to spend the most of that time in Thailand but we are led to belive we can only get one more visa and we dont really want to have to leave and comeback every 15 days to renew it , we have also heard we can go to Malaysia and get a 2month visa is this possible any help would be great our current visa runs out on 19th of November we are in Koh Samui now so getting to Malaysia would not be an issue

There are three consulates in Malaysia.

KL, Penang and Kotha Bahru.

Peneng will not give another tourist visa if you have extended the previous with 30 days at immigrations.

There is a visa run to Kotha Bahru by bus, contact Hebert across street from Immigrations in Nathon.

Easiest is to take a flight to KL (subang, old airpost in KL) by Firefly.
