At least 15 killed, more than 40 injured after powerful explosion in Karachi

ISLAMABAD (BNO NEWS) -- A major explosion rocked the Pakistani city of Karachi on Thursday, killing at least 15 people and injuring at least 48, officials and local TV said.

According to Police, the explosion occurred near the chief minister's house.

Express News reported that the intensity of the explosion was such that it was heard for many kilometers around and nearby buildings have been damaged.
