Quoting In Bold; Can'T Go Back To Normal Script

Featured Replies

It is irritating that if I post a quote which was -originally- written in BOLD, I cannot change further writing back to normal script (non-BOLD), like shown here in a post by myself.

Why not?

After you do a copy/paste of bold text from a quote have you tried to insert the end-bold switch ([ /B ] - without the spaces)?

I don't think you can use the bold button to end bold text if you have not originally clicked the button to set the start bold switch ([ B ])

hmm. it always worked but it seems it's different now.

As a matter of fact I never heard about the system you're talking about now...and find it too complicated.

A simple click on the BOLD button should do the job, not making it more complicated,......right?

It isn't different from the "old" system.

It will not work if you have disabled the rich text editor.
