Northern Thailand Cycling

Featured Replies

It seems there a lot of web resources for cycling in Northern Thailand. Many of them are commercial but still offer some good info. I thought it would be good to collect them all in one thread to share the wealth.

Here are a couple:

http://www.cyclechiangmai.com/

Has phone numbers for shops, and an RSS Feed where you can get automatic updates on races, rides, events, etc. Seems to kept up-to-date in good fashion.

www.cmcycling.org

Website for the Sunday Cycling Group that meets at Tapae Gate every Sunday morning at 7:30 AM. A great way to break into cycling in Chiang Mai if you are new to the area or new to cycling in Thailand. (Normally this site has a schedule of rides but I see that it is not currently working.)

It is in Thai but you can always use your Google Translate if you wish.

Lots of rides and great photos too of rides. Thai's love to ride bikes.

Yeah, that is a good one. I sure wish they would get the English forum working again.

Well you and I have the privilege of having 2 long hair dictionary's.

Besides being pretty and good cooks they come in handy for those pesty Thai only sites.:))

Regular races for kids and adults. Even if you don't race, this area is great for riding. Lots of roads, nature, and very little traffic only minutes from downtown Chiang Mai.
