Getting To U-Tapao Airport

Featured Replies

I see that Lao Air now flies to Luang Prabang and Vientiane. What is the taxi mafia charging to get to U-tapao? Do the local 'baht' buses go there?

Well I suppose that depends on where you live ! Why not just ask your local taxi service ?

anu idea on price to fly to destinations, checked web site no info

Last time I looked there was a minibus service from Pattaya/Jomtien for around 250 baht. They'll pick you up from your hotel. I'll look for the number if I find the time. Otherwise, call Bangkok Airways or Lao Airlines and get the number from them.

Otherwise book a 'limo' for 700 baht. Limo Pattaya

I think the white baht bus charges 20 baht. Pattaya to Sattahip. Then you need to catch an orange one to Kilo Sip. 10 or 20 baht. Then motorcycle into the airport or walk. Or take a 46 or 57 bus AC and Music videos or sometimes movies. Pattaya to Kilo Sip or right around there. 40 baht maybe depends on the mood of the driver. At any rate take anything heading towards to Rayong and get off when you see the airport. Most of the drivers will stop. If not start jumping up and down and flap your arms like a bird if you can't say air plane in Thai. Hour or two by bus. If you get the three drunk bus drivers having a party 2 hours perhaps 3 because they keep turning around trying to pick up women.
