Hi all,

I'm new to this site even I have been following this site for a wile.

Recently I returned back to Thailand with a 1 month visa and tried to renew my visa for 2 months, a married visa in Pattaya(Jomtien) and this is also the reason why I join here because i know I'm not alone with this ongoing hassle.

Spending about 2 hours of waiting we finally got a female officer where I have been ignored and the officer not even talked to me but instead to my wife... The result on the officers comment , I should get to Phuket to get my married visalaugh.gif Funny I should get one easy, but not in Jomtien. We went up to Korat and did the papers just in about a half hour. I am really happy to travel all of thailand to get this visamad.gif

I hope that the authorities come to a equal solution with this visa crap and I'm certain this will be in a blue moon!biggrin.gif

My experience just tells me again speaking to the right people helps a lot of hassles.

I think next time i try to get a visa from the country which I'm in.

You must extend at the office that serves the location where you live (and in most cases that will mean where the wife has her name on the home register or a long term lease).
