CAIRO (BNO NEWS) -- Nine tourists were killed on Saturday and 22 people were injured when their bus overturned in Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, state media reported..

According to media reports, from the eight killed -- six at the scene of the accident and three at hospital -- three were Russians and two were Ukrainian citizens It was not known immediately the nationality of the other three dead.

Five Germans were also injured in the accident that occurred 200 kilometers (124 miles) from the Egyptian resort of Hurghada.
