Exactly the kind of crime the Thai authorities are poo-panty about, as it will gain traction in China and visitor levels will take a hit, thus revenues does too. The Thai courts need to start making an example of those who commit serious crimes like this to get back confidence and also act as a deterrent... none of the 50% off the sentence for admitting it etc. or quietly releasing people once the news cycle has move on and they think no-one is watching, which is just ludicrous and happens all the time. However, the rot is everywhere in all countries now as people don't want to work, are more desperate, desire money more than at any time in the past, and will do almost anything for it... not a healthy state of affairs.
