I can understand women who don't want to have intimate relationships with men. Men who don't want intimate relationships with women pick hookers as an outlet. Women often pick another woman.

Honestly, I just cant imagine a relationship with a woman in that sense, all I can think of is the time Samantha on SATC had a girlfriend and all the emotional complications and how everything had to be talked otu all the time. gawd, nothing would ever get done. what a nightmare! haha

Im with you on that one SBK. Gawd, its hard enough understanding myself, let alone another woman. Dealing with one woman in my life (myself, guys, myself!) is quite enough!

actually,, i could do it...... find the right woman, and bingo, no problems there... several of my happily and not so happily, sexually satisfied female friends ahave decided that we would like to have wives, and the men just around for the 'other' type of sex... most of my friends are intelligent, sharp, witty, and not bimboey types, i have no patience for those... but sometimes its just easier to deal with someone that is the same sex (i dont go for the catty girly girl types anyhow, i seem to have a male brain), as for sex, well we defeinately know better then men what most other women like, just the linga is missing.. but nowadays they come in all shapes sizes and battery levels and as for getting pregnant, well, sperm banks took care of that also... frankly thats probably why i enjoy my back to basic dark skinned super muscled testestarone husband: he's the physical and intimate side the dark hunter. the women are for the brain stimulation, yapping, emoting, nurturing side.

frankly, i love the person not the sex, so if i hadnt met anon, who knows... i met have become the girlfriend of some business woman or something.... i was just about sick of all the metrosexual or super middle east macho men id met here so a normal strong beautiful sexy woman would have been the next step probably. barring that, i might have ended up with tons of dogs in the house in lieu of any humans... but not in my bed thank u very much...)

It's why I've said that many men would be better off with just male friends to live with, and hookers for sex. Certainly you lose some of the intimacy of living with someone of the opposite sex, but at what cost? There is usually a downside to every relationship, and life is always a compromise.

Bit of a fluffy topic this one.......But whatever floats your boat!

There are pros and cons to every relationship and these days it seems there is a lot more freedom to choose which way you want to swing.

My wife has several friends that she has had since her school days but (as far as I know) she has no sexual feelings towards them or them to her, they are just lifelong friends and discuss their deepest darkest secrets with each other.

Blokes on the other hand rarely disclose their innermost feelings to each other.
