You Have Heard Of Glitterman...

Featured Replies

I was speaking to him yesterday as I was walking into Central Festival just before he got on his box.

He says he works 3-4 hours each day with the permission of the Central Festival management and the

BiB cannot touch him as he is on private property...?

He says makes about ฿5,000 per day and will be here until April. No prizes for guessing his nationality. :D

And the BIB can not touch him because he is on private property?????????

If that was true nobody can get caught for working without work permit because every workplace is private property.

pipo1000, I am in agreement with you.

There is also a Falang flipping burgers in the Carrefour food court.

Makes me wonder.

and i have seen one behind the fruit & veg stall at a local market  is Thailand finally becoming a normal country? no it can't be, i am on my way to buy a tin of paint....

"BiB cannot touch him as he is on private property" :cheesy:

Standing in the sun with boots, pants, coat, scarf, gloves and hat. I don't envy his job!

Phil, it made me stifle a grin when he said that.

His poster reads: Hawaii, Waikiki, Japan, Koba, Osaka, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Bournemouth.

Just my opinion but spot the odd city out. :whistling:

...except your private property does not belong to one of Thailand's richest and most influential family and your surname is not Chirathivat :whistling:

And you think Khun Chirathivat care enough about some silver guy to start pulling strings?

that's a coincidence

i saw you talking to him yesterday afternoon as i left Central

he looked really weird with his hat off and his eyes not silvered, (ok, more weird.....)

i couldn't help but think ''i wonder how long it will be before he will be arrested for working?''

such is my mindset over here, i really am very, very sorry to say

5000 baht for a few hours of lazing about? I would pay him to quit it. At least Glitterman isn't a lazy arsed fill in the blank.

i am thinking he will be another eccentric Englishman?

No I don't think that at all. I was merely making the point that not all private property (or citizens) are equal in this country, in response to previous post.

Sarah Silverman, he ain't! That girl's got talent!

"Painter/Decorator from Liverpool, England" kind of gives it away

it only gives it away if you could be bothered enough to have opened the picture that gave you that information

at the time of writing i was happier to not care and guess........correctly

Being from Liverpool makes a person eccentric? Is eccentric a code word for Tory? Do tell ...

I am interested where Koba is in japan, I know where Kobe is.

How does he get on going through the TSA at US airports with that clothing ??

:cheesy:

Koba, it's the only one spelt wrong.

Bournemouth it's the only one I have lived.

Spoken like a true TV member.

He told me the cops cant touch him as he is the ( original ) Silver man. Also that he was from New York. The guys a crank and full of BS, he should do well down here. :)

No prizes for guessing his nationality

I haven't seen him yet but judging the pictures he seems not so tall.

So spill the beans. Is he Thai?

i am thinking he will be another eccentric Englishman?

You'd be hard pressed to find a Tory in Liverpool.

Shouldn't he be in a silver Mickey Mouse suit if he's from Liverpool though? Or maybe that would be copyright infringement?

I am still sorry Thailand has brainwashed me to think that way about my fellow guests

so please do not try to include me with the section of TV members you are referring to in your post

unlike many on here i would not lower myself to report anyone for working in any way, shape or form

thank you

timekeeper is correct in what he says, please see the following rule:

there are a lot of "Living Statues" around and I was very impressed with one that was in the royal gardens the other week, first impression was it look like a real bronze statue.

I had a wicked idea of wheeling in a real bronze statue and placing a hat in front of itwhistling.gif

Glitterman will be jealous. Another eccentric in the village.

Mr Glitterman is aware of the living statues.

If you read through the many parables he has posted he mentions one, perhaps its this one.
