Got a couple of femail Thai students coming over to London in December on English courses and need some prices...

Bangkok-Lon-Bk...valid min 6 months....anyone got favourites or reccos. :jap:

Dont want them to get lost in the desert or the boonies of Bombay /Calcutta so Direct Flights would be better...TG-Ba-Qa-Eva...etc..

Otherwise its with the airlines direct....Grrr...Thanks

When my gf came over in the Summer it was expensive. From memory about the cheapest we could find was 38k on Eva...who just to add were a pain the backside both ways for her with "overweight" luggage.

Might be cheaper to book two singles on Thai from WestEastTravel...I phoned them last week 15th Jan single Bkk-Lhr on Thai £412, with mileage £450.

Moxtravel are always very competative.....other than that, just check the websites of B.A. Eva and Thai if you only want them to have a direct flight...I recently flew BKK-Lon with B.A and cost was just of 37K...dont think you will get much cheaper than that for a direct and not forgetting the tax in the U.K. increased substantially last month for long haul so you will probably be looking at at least 40K now for direct flights...Have heard 1st hand from friends that Jetair (Indian) is OK and its only a short stop in Bombay...

you could try KUWAIT AIR and AIR BERLIN as well.

Kuwait Air is not really the nicest Airline on this planet, but they often have VERY CHEAP fares ex-BKK, even for 6 months-tickets.

check their online booking system (IE only, not Firefox!)

Air Berlin is not exactly a PREMIUM Airline as well, but you can book cheap one-way-fares and return-fares as well. Plus good connections to the UK, no matter if the longhaul-flight arrives at Berlin or Duesseldorf.
