Big trouble in thailand!

i am a brit farang. regular "visitor to Thailand. "live" here most of the time. believe i am in big trouble! was used by Thai "mafia" unwittingly. mentioned to another Brit farang, that my visa was shortly due to expire, and was very low on cash. he put me on to some people (Thai) in BKK.

said they pay well for farangs to "escourt" Thai females to foreign countries to join family, relatives, in order to have a better chance in life, because came from very poor backgrounds, and now if could enter these countries could get education/jobs etc. Fell for it like an idiot, and was offered 1st "job" to take a lady to Hong Kong.

Must admit, when paid first visit to these people, had some doubt that all was on the level, but sounded feasable and did the job. Was paid all expenses. paid 20,000 baht on return. to cut a long story short, as time went by, and did a few more trips, realised that i was being used to deliver prostitutes, to work in these countries. now, i wou! ld like to know!

if there is any chance i can work "undercover" for Thai Police/Immigration to bust this "network". much more to this story to mention here all details, but because of a fall out when i realised what was really going on, my life is in danger, and i have received a subtle warning that i am on a "hit list"! any help from you will be appreciated.

  How can you as a regular visitor to Thailand even consider leaving the country with anything (yes even if it is a person). Now Imagine if that person got caught taking 'HERION' out of the country! Then you would be involved and be totally f****d, and now doing a 100 year sentence@Bangkwang.

  Well as for the threats etc, just move to another area. And hang out@different places. If the Thai mafia ever get a whiff that you intend to grass them up, you will end up dead, or one day you might get stopped by police and they might just happen to find 2 or 3 kilos of herion in your bag (know what I mean). Fancy getting involved in the first place. Getting involved with Mafia from whatever country will always end in tears. Your best bet is to leave Thailand for a couple of years, then go back and start a fresh somewhere else.

  Don't even think of grassing, as it aint your country, so its none of your business.

I don't know the details so I can't really give any suggestions.  But, I am curious to know why you can't go back home for a while.  You may like living in Thailand, but is it worth you life?

It sounds like you are at the mercy of  people who have no real reason to be merciful.
