December 20, 201015 yr Hi All, I'm travelling to Khao Yai National Park during the holiday period. I have tried to find the route on my Garmin but this is very general and does not advise me of where in the park that the route is for. I am travelling from Samutprakarn and going camping at one of the campsites in the park with my kids (not sure which campsite yet). Therefore can anyone advise me of the correct co-ordinates that will take me on the quickest route from Samutprakarn? Any help will be greatly appriciated. Best regards, Tiger.
December 20, 201015 yr Garmin easily plots a route from Samut Prakan to the Khao Yai National Park office, a distance of 124km. The park office is located at N14.43243, E101.37119 degrees in the decimal coordinate system.
December 20, 201015 yr Author Thank you for this information. I have now saved this information on my Garmin. Regards, Tiger
December 20, 201015 yr You can exit BKK via Lat Krabang & then join hiway 304. Travel east till it meets the 319. Turn North on the 319. Enter Prachinburi into the maps. Wjere the 319 intersects the 33 turn East to the roundabout. At the roundabout head North. (First left) pay your toll at the South entrance.
January 24, 201115 yr I use Google maps to plan a journey. There is a function that can be enabled that with let you drop a "LatLng Marker" on the map. Just use this Lat Lng co-ordinate in your gps. I hasn't failed me yet, and I found it more reliable that the programmed poi's in my TomTom.
