Internet Banking

Featured Replies

I'd like to be able to transfer funds over the internet from an account in my name to an account in my wifes name.

Anyone know of a Thai bank that will allow me to do that?

Thanks

Kasikornbank, also called Thai Farmers Bank, will allow you to transfer funds and pay bills with their Internet banking. Its free to join and no monthly fees. :o

Bangkok Bank does that too.

(Kasikorn) TFB was the first but in early 2002. others followed.

Then, the procedure to get Internet banking on an existing account was more complicated than opening the account itself. The bank would send you the password within a week via mail. Not sure if it is still like that, that's worth checking - now Thai banks may differentiate on how easy it is to get Internet banking.

Dont know your situation but you cannot have internet banking on just a tourist visa. Have a look on their respective web pages for their requirements.
