Than tell us a bit more about yourself and why you would qualify for a non-immigrant visa.

If you don't qaulify, like being over 50, studying in Thailand or being married to a Thai the only way is to get a new tourist visa from abroad (Vientiane, Laos).

OK, before we wade in some more information would be handy:-

Your age.

Your nationality (yes it matters, not all European countries are equal).

If you are married to a Thai.

Do you intend working / looking for a job? (if not what is your income source).

I'm over 50,but i have no incoming for retire visa application and i'm not married. So,how can i run my new visa going out boarder again..?Thanks!!

For retirement the requirements are:

income of 65,000 THB a mont

OR

800,000 THb in a bank account in Thailand

OR

a combination of yearly income and money in the bank totaling 800,000.

If you can't meet that you can apply for a double entry visa in vientiane, Laos. Just show up with your passport, money and photo.

Another possibility is to go studying, like Thai langage at a language school.

You can go to Vientiane and get a two entry Tourist Visa (free at present) that will keep you going for nearly 6 months (with 2 x 30 day extensions).

As you are over 50 a retirement extension is possible, approximately what is your income (there must be some) you can top it up with money in the bank as the combination route is still open for retirement.

EDIT Just saw your other post, why not save up 800,000 Baht (about 21,000 Euro) and use it to get a retirement extension? (the matter of whether you can legally run your e-commerce business is another question).

Many thanks, all of u.Can u tell me detailed about the visa run process in Vientiane, because i never did it bebore,as i went in Malasia for my visa run before.I live in BKK now. Please give me full instructions(is there some agent for visa run in Laos..?)Is it completely legaly..?which is the cost..?thanks

3 entries will not be given. KL might issue a double entry, but expect to pay for it and it is not sure if you will get a double entry. Vientiane is closer by and a doubl entry is free.

Note that for retirement your incoem doesn't have to be from within Thailand. You just need a letter from your embassy that confirms your income of at least 65,000 baht a month. It is your embassy that decides what they will accept as proof.

Ok.Can u help me please about the process, for visa run in Vientiane, cause i never done before.I must do it same day(cross border),whow i can go?is there any travel agency for visa run from bkk to Vientiane ?Do u know time need and cost..?thanks again..!!

The link in posts 9 gives you all the information.

The double entry visa is free, but you will have to pay for a visa for Laos. You can do it yourself or use an agent and apply day 1 and pick-up the passport with visa the next working day.

I'm sory, but I've confused reading the link in post 9.Can u send me a specified link about process, cost agents etc..?Thanks again in advance.

Mario,i worried about t/v denied.I just read about that.Do u have any oppinion about that matter? An agent may be usefull, about that..?

There is no reason why your tourist visa should be denied, especially in case of a first time application.

This thread gives some more information about going to Vientiane:

This hthread says double entry tourist visas are also availeble in cambodia:

http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/419060-tourist-visa-pp-cambodia/

If you plan to go back in the near future to Europe, get a multiple entry non-0 based on retirement. That will give you 15 months of stay, with doing a border run every 90 days.

Many thanks again Mario.I don't plan to go back Europe in near future.I worried reading this:http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/420617-vientiane-denying-tourist-visas-now/page__p__4051245#entry4051245

It will be my first time application in Vientiane, but i've alredy applied 2 times in Penang Malaysia. So do u think that may I worry,or not..?I want to use an t/v agent for application, for more secure, but i don't know someone.Do u thin than in Camboja may be more secure, for double entry?Tnks again for your attention.

Posted

Vientianne is more secure for double entry. Just try it there and you should be fine.

In the mean time try to save money for getting a non-O visa based on retirement and extensions.

Posted

Sure,i take care about retired,or work permit visa, soon. But if everything ok,then may I'll been sure for 6 months? Please tell me also, about the cace that my t/v will be denied. What I must do..?Must stay out of Thailand/how long?can stay in Laos,or Malaysia..?Thanks anain for your help.

You should get a double entry tourist visa without problems. If in the unlikely case you will not get it, you can apply in Cambodia.

If you just fly back into Thailand without a visa, you will get 30 days. If you go by land border 15 days. So you can always return to Thailand and plan your next step.

Mario, thanks again cause u make me feel hopefull. Can u help me about my trip from bkk to Vientiane?Go by bus or by air?

Posted

That is up to you and your budget. Believe many take a plane to Khon kaen and from there the bus to the border.

There are several options, but I haven't done it myself. others might advise better than me.

May be you,or somebody knows something about the total cost, for visa run and some tourist agent office, specialized to Laos visa run..?
