Multiple Non O-A Retirement Visa Question?

Featured Replies

Hello,

After reading many topics i want to set somethings clear...and please correct me if i`m wrong....!

I have a multiple non O -A retirement visa from the Thai embassy in Belgium, i entered thailand 24/5/2010.....i didn`t leave the country since and done my 90 day reports....

Is it true if for example i leave the country to philippines on 10/5/2011 and return to thailand on 20/5/2011 they gonna give me a 1 year extension?

Thanks in advance....

Jan.

It will depend on the expiry date of your Visa.

It is valid for 12 months from date of issue. Not the date when you entered Thailand.

Thanks Lite Beer,

You mean the entry stamp i got from immigration...? (it says till 24 /5/2011) ,or what i read in the visa stamp...."this visa must be utilized before 27/04/2011" ?

so if i understand you i must enter thailand again before 27/4/2011...?

Correct me if i`m wrong please.....

Jan

Correct. Before 27 April.

Hello

I have another question, in that case, do we need to go to Immigration before leaving Thailand for a re-entry permit ?

If your Visa is still valid. No.

You will need a Re Entry Permit if you wish to leave during the second 12 months permision to stay.

Thanks

Not if you want to enter on an O-A visa for a new one year entry. A re-entry permit only allows entry for the current permitted to stay time.
