LOS ANGELES (BNO NEWS) -- A 25-year-old woman, who was a finalist in the "Rock of Love Bus" reality show, on Wednesday began her six-month sentenced over a violent assault, TMZ reported.

Brittanya O’Campo checked on Tuesday in the Ventura County Jail in California to begin her sentence. She previously pleaded guilty to felony assault with a deadly weapon and misdemeanor battery charges.

The incident took place in 2008 after O’Campo attacked another woman with what police described as a "pimp cup." The victim was busted open and needed several stitches to close her wounds.

"I will be locked up for 6 months. I can only get postcards, no letters or packages," O’Campo posted in her Twitter account as a goodbye note to her fans.

O’Campo gained notoriety after being selected to participate in the reality show "Rock of Love Bus" of rock star Brett Michaels. She was one of the finalists of the show of the former Poison lead singer. The 25 year old also starred on the "Charm School" reality show with Ricki Lake.
