Salid Dok

Salid dok

I know it's Thai slang, and I keep being called it by someone. I've heard its a word used to describe someone who acts like a ladyboy, someone who is a bit cute and when you make a funny face.....

I can't type in Thai on this keyboard, but the spelling is soo seaur, sara a (short), hoo hib, roo reaur, sara ee (short), doo dek.

Many thanks, I think I may be coming across a little gay.....

Salid dok? doesn't ring the bell, but I know a word close to it.

e-dok ....a variation of the word "dok thong" means golden flower, it is a term for prostitute.

"dok thong" = the bitch who will go to bed with anybody.

No, its definitely not that. Its often used without the 'dok', just 'salid'.

Thanks anyway.

สลิดดก: Northern Thai for "slut" or "slutty".

That's probably it with me being in Chiang Mai. So I look slutty, rather than like a ladyboy, guess that's a good thing?

I dunno... like "slutty", it's usually reserved for use between, and about, girls and effeminate guys. I'm guessing somebody's just teasing you. cool.gif

When my dog have an overly effection by running around the wife in circles,

she'd say "muang salid nor, salid nor..."

It can be use to express one's action especially when over act...or is trying to act cute or trying to be funny or over impress.
