Zodiac
The loan agreement would be between Man U and Preston, which would form a seperate contractual agreement. They two clubs have seperate legal identites. No doubt there would be a clause to recall the players by Man U which would not be dependant on who manages Preston. Man U recalled the players. The reason why the recall is both objectionable and a disgrace is that Ferguson apparently did it purely out of spite as he diagreed with Preston dismissing his son. This is an example where the directors of Man U ought to have over ruled their manager as he possibly acted unfairly under contract law, but of course for obvious reasons they will not do so.We shall see what action if any Preston take, but of course probably none as they are up against a powerful bully. The whole episode illustrates the true character of a manager who is yes: spiteful and vengeful. Edited January 2, 2011 by Zodiac
