Some friends of ours from the US are visiting friends in Trat right now, and their departure date back to the US ... from Suvarnabhumi, of course ... is January 6.

Curious about what days we might expect a heavy flow of people back to Bangkok: was thinking maybe should notify friends since, we are pretty sure, they will be travelling from Trat to Bangkok by bus.

Of course, it's only about a five hour, or less, bus trip from Trat to Bangkok, and Trat is not "up-country," so we're not sure if raising any alert is needed here.

You can fly Trat to Bangkok with Bangkok airways.
