Hi fellows, where on this island can I get a quality exercise bike?

Actually, I would prefer to ride a mountain bike, but I rather avoid the street hassles and ride an exercise bike on my terrace looking at the sea....

It's a serious question. I am an exercise man since Kindergarten and I want to buy a new exercise bike, which can be used longer than a year without any major repairs and sent backs.

If you already have a road bike , you could buy one of these bike trainers.

I got one not so long back from Pattaya.

You can use it with any road bike.

get a mountain bike. plenty of mountains around here. shop in chaweng good bikes. when u go out bring a spare inner tube and some flat tire changing tools and a water bottle off you gooo

sold my mountain bike 15 years ago because of traffic and road conditions, which are 10 times worse now. No fun to ride a bike and constantly worry about all the other road user and road conditions.

Or do you know nice biking paths around Choeng Mon/Bangrak leading to the inner side of the ring road?

Bought our treadmill from Supersports at Big C supermarket. Although they don't have much equipment on display they have a catalogue and if they don't have it out the back in the store they can order from the Bangkok store. We paid them a 10% deposit, they delivered and when we went to pay the driver / delivery guy the balance, he said "no no, cannot pay me, must pay at shop". Amazing where else in the world would they deliver the item and then trust you to return to the store on your own accord to pay for it.
