Malaysia To Thailand

Featured Replies

I will be starting work in Malaysia in the new year so was planning to fly in to Thailand 1 or 2 times a month to visit my family, but was wondering if there was a limit to how many times i could enter within a year. Thanks.

No such limits.

5 years ago, before I applied for the non-immigrant visa, I used to come to Thailand rather often for holidays from China where I was working. On one occassion, immigration started counting the days I have been in Thailand in total. He told me there was a limit of 90 days in any one year for tourist visa goes for my Australian passport. Of course things may have changed now or I may have misunderstood the immigration official, but my understanding then was there was a limit of 90days.

There is now no longer any limit. :)

And there never was for visa entry - that was a short term visa exempt entry condition which ended when land entry was changed to 15 days rather than 30 days.
