Hi All,

I am thinking of setting up a pond of some sort in my garden.

Thing is, it is a rented house. My landlord is very accomodation, but I do not want to propose either a "permanent" structure or digging a great big hole in the garden. So what I am thinking of is an above ground structure, effectively a "box" which I would then line with some kinf of "pond liner" (as you would in farang land). I will then "dress" the frame so that it looks nice etc.

I know all this may sound weird and wonderful (even tacky) but aesthetically I am confident I can pull it off...... and I am not too worried about constructing the structure...... but I am wondering do any of you know where I could get a pond liner?

Its needs to be quite big..... I want to keep koi...... so I am thinking something in the region of 10' x 10' but 2'deep (minimum).

Many thanks in advance.

I believe places like Homepro or Global House have large rolls of plastic liner.

I would suggest to got to Jatujak in front of the JJ Mall highrise, they sell kois and ponds of diffrent sizes and equipment (pumps etc...)
