This is as much a rant as a plea for help.

The Sofitel in Silom road has decided to run some kind of industrial machinery outside my bedroom window. All night. Every night.

Maybe it is some kind of washer? Or industrial air con? But it starts at 7pm and runs all night until the next day.

It's just loud enough to bore a hole in my head and grate my teeth together.

I don't suppose that any of the members here work for the Sofitel (I know they have some Farang staff).

It's stopped me getting a good sleep. It used to be so quiet here.....

No you'll be alright. Nothing to annoy the guests - just the people who live nearby.

It's under the carpark at the rear. Not incredibly loud - but loud enough to stop me getting a deep sleep.

I never really minded the karaoke performed by the car park attendant at 7am each day, but this just grates.
