U. S. Embassy Outreach

Featured Replies

I had occasion to visit the US Consular "Outreach" when they visited Korat yesterday. It was quick and about 1,000 times more convenient that going to the Embassy ACS in BKK.

Not too many folks had showed up by the time I left .. maybe 10? Maybe it wasn't publicized well enough? Here is their Outreach schedule for 2011. As you can see, Udorn and Khon Kaen are each scheduled for 2 visits. That page also explains what services they render .. and what they cannot.

Anyhow, the officer was not sure they will do the trip to Korat again. So I would recommend that if you are interested, maybe write to the embassy and urge them to keep Korat on their schedule .. and maybe find a better way to publicize this extremely convenient service. Surely, a mod could add a pinned topic and keep it updated..

Thank you Klikster,

I'm new to Isaan and this is much wanted/useful information.

Regards,

Keoki
