August 27, 200520 yr Can anybody recommend a decent local builder for our dream home between Cha Am and Hua Hin? Don't care if he's falang or Thai so long as he's reliable, reasonably priced and takes a pride in the job. My lady has about two thirds of a rai of land and we're looking to have a bungalow built with a large living room, couple of bathrooms and kichen, plus three bedrooms. I know there are lots of rip-off cowboys out there. Maybe I would be better off with the injuns? Any help gratefully acknowledged.

Most important aspect is to oversee the construction yourself, if not it's worth employing some one to inspect/oversee on your behalf.
