Quick Vat Question

Featured Replies

I'm on a non imm O visa and will be taking a trip out of country in April. I will be purchasing a notebook this week and wondering if I can still apply for a VAT refund after 3 months?? and on my non imm visa??

Thanks in advance.......

I think the rule is that you need to have spent less than 180 days per year in Thailand to qualify for vat refund.

I just bought the notebook and paid the full VAT and the sales person says that it has to be used within 2 months.....too early for me to leave and if what you say Mac......i stay longer than 180 days......so I loose a few thb.
