Penang consulate holidays: http://www.mfa.go.th/web/2781.php?pid=2911

Upcoming holidays:

January 23

February 7

February 8

March 20

P.S. Ignore the above. Their site has not been updated and those are the holidays for 2008.

The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place

Only Feb 3 and Feb 4 are marked as Malaysia public holiday and the consulate will be closed on these days.

Have you got tickets to Penang yet?

Penang has the biggest Chinese temple outside China.

Chinese are going to flock in Penang during the new year.

Expect every room on the Island to be booked already.
