I was wondering if anybody has an underwater metel detector???

We have one where i work now and we use it, but think too pricy for private use, 250.000US$++ 1 harness/cable is around 2000US$ so don’t go there

A freind has one he tows behind a boat but haven't seen a hand held one Lost something or just looking for treasure ?

Metal detectors have always intrigued me, though I have never owned or even used one. I guess if at Patong beach if you would walk through the surf when the tide is at its lowest, and use an underwater one, you would find quite a few rings, necklaces and so on, lost by swimming tourists.

I used to see a guy walking up and down Kata beach at just after sunset with a metal detector. He would dig large holes in the sand for me to twist my ankle in while I was jogging.
