Insurance Premium Rises After 1St Year

Recommended Posts

You could always try Thai Visa Insurance for a free quote ;)

In my experience, I've always found that Thanachart and QBE offer the best rates, and in the case of Thanachart, a much higher level of standard cover. QBE are very flexible when it comes to agreeing on a value for your car though, and are the only insurer I've delt with that will insure my cars for more than 80% of market value.

I'm currently negotiating with AXA on their SmartDrive Policy which looks very good and they will allow upto 50% No Claim Bonus if you have the Paper work to Validate it. Check it out. The Manager in Khon Kaen, Mr Yongsubchat has been very quick to respond to my E-mails.

Thanks for the replies.

Thanachart insurane has two options. Full option which car for the calculation was valued at 600 000 (at viriyah it was 700 000) baht. This costs 19 000 baht.

The other option was lite: 5000 deductible for self-inflicted accidents: 13 200 baht.

Viriyah had car tax included, around 600 baht. Thanachart didn't.

Thanachart doesn't use Toyota's repair center. They have their own. They use Toyota parts though.
