Is there such a thing? I heard a while back that Immigration was going to crackdown on overstays. I should be out getting a stamp today....but I am busy and would prefer not to go tomorrow either. Is an overstay of 2 or 3 days a problem? 500 baht per day and carry on????Or is this going to be a problem?Thanks for your help.

It will be 500 baht per day and a stamp in passport but so far it is not an issue for return. But no guarantee in the future.

Why are you busy? Since 90 days you know that you have to do a visa run... a red stamp in your passport isn't worth it. Keep your documents clean

Update.

Paid my fine. Did get a stamp that I had overstayed. Immigration said "no big deal".

Reminder to check your stamp on the way in though...Immigration mistakenly gave me 14 days....I had to re-enter the que and get her to change it...which she did.
