Uk Visa Swiss Visit

Has anyone done this, I am going to uk for 2 weeks in may and would like to visit switzerland for a week too.

Do I need to oraganise a seperate Swiss visa for my Thai wife?

Thanks, I thought that would be the case is a Schghengen visa easy to get ? The UK visa is a real pain even though we're married!!

as I know you have to applay for a Schenge Visa in this Embassy of country which you visit/arrive first, after if it isn't Switzerland first destination, no problem to visit Switzerland too.
