Opposite Soi Honey on Soi Boukhau the Golden lion bar has been shut now for over one year, after the new owner spent a shed load of money re modelling it, any body know what the story is?

I would also love to know why this bar hasn't opened for the high season. I must have walked past this bar so many times over the last 6 months and it is in a great location. Plus, as you mention, the renovations were on-going in Sep / Oct last year and the Golden Lion statue itself is pretty impressive.

I really don't know what happened to this bar but if you look around pattaya you have many bars opening that are obviously owned by people who know how to count, coffee and beer a fine example, there are cost models that don't fit here and if you buy a bar and can't figure out that it will never make a profit at the price to compete then leave the shutters down
