pomchop 5730
Just curious if anyone knows when Rico's restaurant/bar will be re-opening and what are they building there? It's a great spot and i am sure that whatever Rico is doing will be done right.
Limbo 7
Rico's will from now on only occupy the left part of the premises, the old restaurant gets another destination. So now he is building a kitchen behind the original Beach Bar and his new restaurant in front. Even if the total space gets smaller I am sure it is going to be an improvement in the one way or the other. You can leave that to Rico. It took longer than planned, but I wouldn't be surprised if it would open again within a day or ten. Hmmm, a hamburger cheese and a Weihenstephaner dark ... Limbo 7
Hmmm, a hamburger cheese and a Weihenstephaner dark ... Limbo The hamburger cheese will have to wait as the kitchen isn't open yet but the Weihenstephaner can be ordered again. Yesterday at least the Beach Bar at Rico's opened and all the regulars were polishing their good old bar stools again. The 'beach' looks now a little bit like a construction site but the spirit is back! Tomorrow (Rico's is closed on Sundays) also the Kangeroo opens again. sceadugenga 3344
I could never work out why a bar would want to close on Sundays, someone should tell him that people still feel like a drink after church. (Probably more so).

(Probably more so). I suspect he closes on Sundays because his clients go elsewhere and not necessary to church
