Will A Thai consulate in the USA issue a (2) entry Tourist visa with only 1 and a half pages remaining in Passport. I plan to get more pages when I am in Bangkok at USA embassy upon my arrival. Travel and work requirements make it difficult to send my passport for extra pages and then send it to LA consulate. I know the tourist visa takes up a whole pag.

Adding extra pages is almost as expensive as a new passport.

Only the Consulate can answer that question but see no reason they would not issue. The visa would remain valid even with the passport canceled but adding pages will make it easier. Not a free service as previously but still better than having to discard a passport early for most I suspect.

What pisses me off is i for 40 years or so have always asked for and received a 48 page passport,. now when i got my

"new" style passport they could only give me 28 pages. Guess this was to get us all up that travel alot to get the additional pages which now we need pay for,
